Jayne, we've got to eat less and talk more.

There has been the eating of so much fine food this weekend, it follows that we have to talk. With two posts, we are closer to being bloggers right now than we are to being podcasters. Talk. How bout tomorrow night, huh? Shall we aim to finish podcast tomorrow night? Can we just cut out the bit where I sound like a wanker talking about the oysters?

a nervous beginning

Welcome to SaltCast where two of us talk and drool over fantasic local produce. There's also a bit of gratutious drooling over knitting yarn and other things we love. Mostly it's all about the food.

We love food! even more we love food that's been grown or made by people who care. Locally we have some of the most amazing produce that we'd love to share with you, everything from smelly cheese to boutique beer.

Hang around with us as we use this podcast as a fantastic excuse to eat far to much of the 'good stuff'.
